Us too, Zach Mendes is still a member of the Pound Ridge Fire Department while he serves our country in the USMC. Back in may of 2020 Zach embarked on his journey with the Marines and endured a long 13 weeks of training at Paris Island. Zach then proceeded to specialize in his training as a mechanic and shipped off to various different duty stations. Today Zach was promoted to the rank of Corporal! We are extremely proud of how much he has progressed in his career with the USMC.
